1. Oct 28, 2014. #1. Welcome to QED. Ya know the block from Extra Utilities named QED? It’s name is always like this: QED (q… e… d…) where the words are a possible meaning of the acronym QED. Invent your own meanings and post them here. The next person MUST rate the acronym and say their own. Good luck with yer acronyms!
QEDFilter: evaluates the QED score of a compound. By passing score=PassThroughScore() , this filter simply returns the QED score template = Template ([ ValidityFilter (), SingleCompoundFilter (), ], [ QEDFilter ( None , None , score = PassThroughScore ())], fail_score =- 1.
edit Extra Utilities config file and delete everything that is white listed in the QED list that will change the recipes to a normal crafting recipes however it will render the QED obsolete. you can also just add the recipes you want using MineTweaker
Automate the crafting of the ingredients for whatever recipe you are going for, and make sure the crafting recipe is filled in but dont place down your ender-thingy (whatever its called that it gets its “power” from), and when you have a decent backlog of the required items, start pumping them in and hope they dont fill the empty slots.
This really doesn’t answer your question OP but I just disable the QED recipes. It’s complexity for the sake of complexity and adds nothing of value. QED has nothing complex in it. Occasionally put stack of coal and ore in it to triple them to ingots.

Is it possible to insert items into a QED?
At most, the output can be extracted from below the QED (A Hopper, for example), but you cannot insert items into the block. Just knowing this alone has helped a lot.
Is the QED intended to be automateable?
It is intended not to be automateable. Sorry, it’s intentionally left to be unable to automate. At most, the output can be extracted from below the QED (A Hopper, for example), but you cannot insert items into the block. Just knowing this alone has helped a lot. At least now the output goes into a hopper into a tesseract into my reactor.

At least now the output goes into a hopper into a tesseract into my reactor. Just wander by every now and then add some more of the inputs. Better than nothing. Thanks!
