In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make cut copper stairs, place 6 cut copper in the 3×3 crafting grid. When making cut copper stairs, it is important that the cut copper are placed in the exact pattern as the image below.

The trick here is that you always place a flat block (a solid block, a Slab, or upside down Stair) at the corners where you’d usually make your turn, with the Stairs connecting to them. In this build I used upside down Stairs to make the flat corners, because I could also use them to make the whole staircase have more volume.

To place stairs, use a stairs item while pointing at a surface facing the space the stairs should occupy. When placed, a stair orients itself with the half-block side closest to the player. Stairs can be placed either right side up or upside-down: Pointing at a block top or the bottom half of a block side places the stairs right side up.

In general, start by adding a stair block, then another next to it with the same orientation. Finally, orient yourself 90 degrees to add the third stair which will complete a corner. Next delete the first block you positioned and the corner block should keep its state. It gets tricky to position corners near each other and takes some practice.

So 1. place a normal corner with 2 stairs. 2. place 2 stairs side by side at the other site. 3. fill the walls up with blocks. 4. place the stair in the inner corner. I hope some of you guy this helps…anywhere…idk. [img]. Tags.
