How can I exit from a group in Facebook?

1. Visit the Group page you're curious about by logging into your Facebook account and clicking the name of the Group under the “Groups” menu on your Facebook Home page.
2. Click on the “About” tab or on the text that says “[number of members] Members” on the Group page.

1. From Chats, open the group conversation.
2. Tap the names of the people in the conversation at the top.
3. Scroll down and tap Leave Group > Leave.

1. Go to the group you want to delete, and click “Members.” Click beside each person's name, and select “Remove from Group.”
2. Once you've removed everyone else in the group, choose “Leave Group” next to your name.
3. Click “Leave and Delete”.
4. And voila! Your Facebook Group is gone.

1. Open the group chat thread in Whatsapp.
2. Tap on the name of the group on the top.
3. Tap on Mute.
4. Pick an option for the time period for which the notifications from this group chat should be muted. ( 1 day, 1 week or 1 year)

When you leave a group:

1. Members won't be notified if you leave.
2. You're removed from the member list and the group will be removed from your list of groups.
3. You'll no longer get group notifications or see group posts in News Feed.
