Keeping this in consideration, how do you smooth Super Sculpey?
It must always be kept away from children and pets. To use the acetone, dip the cotton bud in the liquid so that it's moist (but not dripping), then gently wipe it over the parts of the baked clay that you want to smooth. Don't press down on the clay, or attempt to vigorously rub the fingerprints out.
Furthermore, can you use sandpaper on polymer clay? Wet/dry sandpaper is one of my favorite sandpapers to use when finishing polymer clay. It's also one of the easiest to get hold of. Most hardware stores will stock a good range of grits. Wet/dry sandpaper is tough enough to get rid of unwanted finger prints, but not so harsh that it will mark the polymer clay.
Likewise, can Super Sculpey be sanded?
You could sand and buff every piece after adding a layer of translucent clay or liquid clay on any surface treatment. Or you could coat every surface with resin or clear liquid Sculpey. Work with these options and come up with your own system!
Can you Rebake Cosclay?
Yes, rebaking polymer clay is safe if your piece has not undergone any painting or glazing. In the case of polymer clay beads, it is permittable to bake your beads as many times as you'd like. Baking polymer beads in multiple stages is an excellent way to add layered design elements.
